Drawing in the Garden - with Kari (August 4th)

All levels of skill and experience welcome! In this low-key drawing class we will be enjoying the company of plants while also flexing our creative muscles. The goal is NOT to make a masterpiece but to learn how to look at plants differently and have fun with some simple sketching techniques. Please bring your own supplies including paper (as simple as 8.5x11 copy paper will do, or swing through the craft isle at Target and get yourself a sketch pad!) and drawing materials (such as pencils, colored pencils, markers, oil or chalk pastels, even crayons would be fun)! We will also have some supplies to fall back on and if you are comfortable, it's always fun to share and try out each other's materials too!

Kari is an artist, nature nerd, cook, movie lover, and stay at home toddler Mama. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and 20 years of teaching experience with ages 0-100. Her passion is for using the arts as a tool to learn, find joy, grow, and heal.
